When Todd Fisher, a nineteen year old college freshman, decides he has had enough of higher education, he runs away in the middle of the night. With no idea where he is going, how he's getting there, and nearly out of money, Todd seeks help from the drummer in his defunct band. However, their reunion shows Todd how lost and confused he truly is.
